Event Review German Users meeting 2020

Virtual 7th German CytoSorb user meeting

December 01, 2020

Live from Berlin

Traditionally we organize the CytoSorb User Meeting D-A-CH one day before the DIVI Congress in Hamburg or Leipzig. This year, however, everything is different: Due to a pandemic, DIVI took place virtually and therefore we also adapted the format of the CytoSorb User Meeting without further ado: the rooms of our Berlin headquarters were converted into a film studio from which we went live on air in the afternoon of December 1, 2020. In this way we were able to make it easy and above all safe for you to participate and at the same time allow you a small glimpse behind the scenes.

About 150 participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland attended this meeting virtually to gain first-hand insights into clinical experiences and to learn about the latest scientific findings, current study results and case series in different patient groups. The event was musically accompanied by the Berlin cellist Anne Müller.

The excellent presentations of the 17 speakers were divided into the following four thematic blocks:

  • Septic shock - new clinical experiences and current data
  • Challenge COVID-19 - CytoSorb as part of the therapy strategy
  • CytoSorb as liver support therapy
  • The special case - CytoSorb therapy as a life-saving measure

The individual presentations are available for you in the webcast area in our media center. Have fun watching them!
