Now that summer has definitely arrived, here are our guidelines for handling adsorbers in cars. Since our team has grown significantly, again as an update for all those who transport adsorbers in the field. Please confirm to Jaqueline that you have read and understood these policies!
Since safety is our top priority, the following rules must be observed:
Summer
- The adsorber must be transported in the car in an electric cool box.
- For cars without automatic power cut off at 12V socket please use a battery protecting automatic switch.
(Buy if needed and charge for travel expenses) - In principle, only so many adsorbers may be transported in the car, as in the context of planned visits makes sense.
- Potentially there is the danger that when the maximum temperature for storage of 40 ° C is exceeded, small gas bubbles can form in the adsorber which can endanger the safe use (activation of blood coagulation, ...).
Winter
- The adsorber must be transported in the car in an insulating box (same electric coolbox, switched off).
- Adsorbers must not be stored overnight in the car if there is a risk of frost or sub-zero temperatures. Please take from car in apartment / house / hotel. In underground garages it must be ensured that the temperature remains in the positive zone. In case of uncertainty e.g. in hotels, take adsorber to your room.
- In principle, only so many adsorbers may be transported in the car, as in the context of planned visits makes sense.
- Potentially there is a risk that ice crystals form at freezing temperatures, which can destroy the beads in the adsorber.
